Kakuma refugee’s camps have numerous of socioeconomic problems such as poverty, unemployment, poor social services and social illness. These make the area to be incompatible with the booming population that is hungry and vulnerable for these services. The women population is becoming dominant population group in this refugee’s camp. This group is also the most affected group of society by the above stated socio economic constraints. 
Because of his horrible poverty in this area, women and young women are forced to involve themselves in sexual exploitation and violence include undesired prostitution, pregnancy and early marriage due to social economic problems so that they can survive, when they practice sexual exploitation most of them feel shame to go to church or mosque, others get
infected by sexual transmitted diseases include HIV/AIDs and they will be denied with education or skills training which will help them to become self-independent. 
THERE IS HOPE AFRICA in the aim of improving the life condition of vulnerable women and to give a professional qualification by providing them the skills training of tailoring and hairdressing increase the number of beneficiaries through acquisition of more training materials and instructor. At the end of the training the trainees will be required to create a solidarity group of five women so that they can be given 2 machines as a loan to refund after one year so that they can start their own job. The total number of beneficiaries is of 30 women for the first round of six months.
We  aim at promoting of women empowerment through capacity building and economic skills training to enable women to become self-reliant. our goal is to create access to social and economic opportunities towards empowering women to achieve their goals. We work by mobilising and recruiting women into self-help groups through which the women engage in various social-economic activities. As an organisation, we believe that when you train a woman all society is trained. The project is trying to empower women by building their capacities and competencies. This will be achieved by conducting a six months periods skill and vocational trainings which will equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become self-sufficient.

Promote self-care of women and young mothers. Enhance the social, economic, psychological and capacity building of vulnerable women in refugee camp so as to be responsible for their development process towards a dignified living.

The approach used in disseminating the  young mothers and women concepts include methods that not only allow the beneficiaries to gain knowledge but also involves them in generating learning points and doing. This is aimed at improving their participation as a way of strengthening learning and enriching cross experience. THERE IS HOPE AFRICA will provide reference materials in the form of facilitation on various topical issues. Further in respect to continuous learning and the program will be for 6 months.

  •  -the 20 women and 20 young mothers will be trained in hairdressing
  • Be able to work on saloon.
  • Specifically, the organisation hopes to offer vocational trainings to the selected beneficiaries in hair dressing skills. These will equip them with relevant necessary skills to enable them be self-reliant and increase their chances to access job opportunities hence improve their carrier conditions by being able to meet their basic household needs.
  • The graduates on satisfactorily completion of their course will be able to start their own businesses thereby creating job opportunities for themselves and other communitymembers as well. The community will easily access the services resulting from the project at affordable rates. The project will be able to train more people from the community at different intervals since it will be able to sustain itself from the products sales
  • Improving the living conditions of women

At the end of an activity or an agreed schedule, a report on the utilization of funds received must be submitted in order to refer to the expenditures and must reflect the spirit of the funding.

Monitoring and evaluation activities will be the following
a) At the internal level, the monitoring committee established by the coordination committee of the Centre in collaboration with the  Beneficiaries, conduct all  assessment the overall operation of the hair dressing workshop on basic objectives and activities defined above.

b) External monitoring and evaluation of the project will be carried out each semester, any follow-up assessment mission will be punished by a detailed report containing the findings and recommendations, the relevant comments made
The location of the lessor will be provided for taking measurements appropriate remedy.
